photoshrink.net ("we", "the site") provides free browser-based image tools: a resizer, compressor, cropper, converter, rotator, Base64 encoder, and favicon generator. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use the site.

How the tools work

Every tool runs entirely in your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Any image you drop in, select, or paste is read and processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by this site. Closing the tab discards everything.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. page views, approximate location by country, device type). This data is not linked to any image you process on the site, since those images are never sent to us.

Local storage

The site stores one small preference — your light/dark theme choice — in your browser's local storage. Nothing else is saved between visits.
